Tie up those running shoes and get ready to go! Sauquoit Valley Foundation is having our first ever “Witch way is the 5K?” road race, 2-mile walk and children’s runs. This event on October 26, 2014 will start with children’s runs at the track at 9:00 am. The 5K race and the walk will begin at 10:30 from the Town Park. The timed road race will go through a beautiful course that includes Sulphur Springs Road, Emerald Hill, and Oneida Street with the ending at the high school stadium. Walkers will follow a course that winds around the school campus and the Town Park. So get ready to run or walk and have some fun! Chicken Bar-B-Q from 11:00 until sold out.

Visit the Sauquoit Valley Foundation website for further updates and information! Registration on-line or by mail-in form will be available in August from the website.

Please note the following road closures on race day from 10:00 am to 11:30 am: Sulfur Springs Road from Town Park to Oneida Street, Oneida Street from Route 8 to Pinnacle Road and Emerald Hill Drive and Sunrise Drive.
